The European Central Bank cuts interest rates to record low
The European Central Bank (ECB) has cut its benchmark interest rate to a new record low of 0.5%.
The move comes amid on-going worries about the Eurozone’s economic health.
This move brings the ECB benchmark interest rate to the same level as the UK interest rate set by the Bank of England.
